Absolutely loved our stay here! Location was perfect and staff was attentive and friendly. Old Town trolley stops right outside so it made for getting around town easy, even without using a car. Also a 15 minute walk from just about everything downtown, along with parking in the back and the free breakfast, made our stay here worth every penny. Only downsides were the rug in our room (Low Country) made navigating around the room uncomfortable and made the porcelain in the bathroom seem soft. Room also ran warm, fans included were a relief, but we run hot so a little more would have improved things.

This is such a great place to stay at, I had gotten the Low Country room and I got upgraded to the Victoria Suite, which was very generous and we really appreciated it. They treated us so well, and made us feel at home. Katherine was great throughout our stay, and we got complimentary wine while we stayed there. They also had an ice maker which is very convenient for us. I will definitely stay here again! It was very clean and tidy all the time too. Even though they don’t serve eggs, they’re breakfast SMACKS, it’s soo yummy and filling, we wouldn’t go out for breakfast, just lunch and dinner. Overall, staying here made our visit to Savannah better!

An absolutely beautiful Inn, with the friendliest, most helpful staff. Katherine is so knowledgeable about the history of the inn, the town, offered the best recommendations, and conversations. Our entire stay was amazing. Location is perfect. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Katherine and Ballastone Inn for an amazing trip!

Wonderful boutique inn with lots of charm and character. Katherine is absolutely wonderful and makes a great old fashioned. A bit on the pricey side but the service the location and people are worth it. They do have a nice breakfast of yogurt, bagels, fresh fruit bowl and the pastries are homemade and absolutely delicious!! Coffee and juice too. Parking is available in the back for 20 dollars a night. Worth it because finding parking on Oglethorpe drive is next to impossible. We will definitely be coming back and if you are going to book try and get the Victoria room.

Its the first time I write a review because I really want to share the great expierence I had at the Ballastone. The hotel is beautiful, an historical building in an excelent location in downtown Savannah. The decoration was wonderful and suitable for its history. But most of all, I enjoyed the great service of the staff. Nice breakfast and little details towards the clients.

Wonderful and historically unique. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Nice hot breakfast, happy hour at the bar, and milk & cookies before bed. Loved this inn and will return.

Absolutely adore this place. Great location and staff. Feels like you’re at home but in Savannah! Each morning was so enjoyable, coffee, light breakfast, and peacefulness. Def coming back.
